Another PhD produced by Pakistan Study Centre

Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar produced another PhD scholar. This time, it was its own faculty member Shahbaz Khan. Working under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam, Director Pakistan Study Centre, the scholar wrote his thesis on “Pakhtuns' Resistance Movements against the Mughuls in 17th Century”.


The External Examiner was Prof. Dr. Farzana Baloch, Director Pakistan Study Centre, University of Sindh  Jamshoro. The Public Defense was attended by a large number of students, scholars, senior Faculty members of Peshawar University departments and other universities.


The scholar presented his research work which was followed by questions from Internal as well as External Examiners. The floor was then given to the audience who asked many questions. At the end the Examiners declared him entitled for the award of PhD in Pakistan Studies.
