Pakistan Study Centre holds 3-day Curriculum-based teachers training workshop

Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar arranged a 3-day Curriculum-based teachers training workshop on 22-24 May 2017. Prominent Resource Persons included Prof. Dr. Ijaz Shafi Gilani, Chairman Gallop Pakistan Islamabad, Prof. Dr.Arshad Ali , Director IER Peshawar, Asstt Prof. Dr. Ibrar of Social Work Department, Mr. Muhammad Ayaz Khan, Kohat University, Asstt Prof. Dr. Farmanullah, Agriculture University and Miss Ishrat Fazayia College.  Director Pakistan Study Centre, Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam distributed certificates among the trainees. In his speech, Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam highlighted the importance of curriculum in the progress and development of nations. He said the resource persons and participants have identified various shortcomings in the curriculum of Pakistan Studies, which need to be rectified. The three day workshop was attended by teachers from various universities, colleges and other institutions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The faculty members of Pakistan Study Centre, Prof. Dr. Fazlur Rahim Marwat, Mr. Shahbaz Khan, Mr. Tariq Amin and Mr, Muhammad Iqbal also spoke in the workshop.
