Director speaks at conference on “Unity of Muslim Ummah”

Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam, Director, Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar was key note speaker at the conference on “Unity of Muslim Ummah” organized by the Consulate General of Iran at Peshawar. Consular General of Iran at Peshawar Mr. Baqir Baigi presided over. Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam said that we need to evolve the culture of tolerance which is a key to establishment of peace. He said that Islam stresses on unity and forbids distribution into splinter groups. Other speakers included Dr. Minhajul Hasan, Dr. Naushad, Fathul Bari, Mulana Shoib, Abaseen Yousafzai and Consular General of Iran at Peshawar Mr. Baqir Baigi.
