Walk to celebrate FATA merger at Pakistan Study Centre

Students and staff of Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar staged a walk to celebrate FATA merger to The walked was led by Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam, Director of the Centre. Students chanted slogans in support of the merger. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam said that though Pakistan was born in August 1947, but it was completed in May 2018 when FATA became substantial part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He paid tributes to Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly who passed the amendment bill. At the end of the walk, the students and staff prayed for prosperity and integrity of Pakistan.
