Director speaks at Police Investigation School ceremony

Director Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam was chief guest at Police Investigation School ceremony. The ceremony was held on occasion of graduation ceremony on the completion of Forensic Investigation course. Officers from all districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa attended the course. The Commandant of the School Naseeb Shah in his welcome address thanked Dr. Fakhar for gracing the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam said that proper investigation is essential for curbing crimes and administration of justice. He said that technological advancement has revolutionized investigation. He said that so far Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was lagging behind in forensic investigation but courses at Police Investigation School and establishing state-of—the-art laboratories in Peshawar are going to make a lot of difference. He paid rich tributes to the performance of KP Police and sacrifices of martyrs. At the end, he distributed certificates among participants of the course.
