Pakistan Study Centre produces another PhD


Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar produced another PhD. Under the supervision of Prof Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam, Miss Hamida Bibi defended her thesis titled “Women Political Participation: A Case Study of Peshawar District (2002-2013)”. Her External Examiners included Prof Dr Razia Sultana Vice Chancellor Shaheed Benazir Women University Peshawar, Prof Dr. Zahid Ali Khan Marwat, Dean Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan and Prof Dr. Fazlur Rahim Marwat, retired Professor Pakistan Study Centre.

Due to COVID-19 SOPs, some of the examiners and a large number of scholars joined the event online. The scholar defended her thesis well by responding to various questions from examiners and other participants. The committee recommended her for the award of PhD degree in Pakistan Studies.
