Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Fakhar-ul-Islam said that it is irony that both the older and young generations of KP don’t know about the history and other dimensions of their own province. The reason is that history of the province has not been included in the curricula of educational institutions. He said that it is a pity that the foreign authors have written numerous books on the history and culture of the province but indigenous authors have written very little on the subject.

Besides Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam, Dr. Husnul Amin, and Jumma Khan Sufi also spoke on the occasion. All the three authors replied to multiple questions raised by the audience. On this occasion, people purchased the aforementioned books from the stalls at sideline of the event.
