Pashto-Urdu Mushayera held at Pakistan Study Centre

A Pashto-Urdu Mushayera was  held at Pakistan Study Centre. Eminent poet and columnist Nasir Ali Syed presided over. While opening the event, Director PSC Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam said that promoting languages is one of the core objectives of the centre . He said that literature and aesthetic sense are the spices of society. Their promotion may lead to a peaceful and prosperous society. Those who presented their poetry included Dr. Zafar Bakhshalay, Dr. Sher Zaman Seema, Dr. Ahmad Ali Ajiz, Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam, Mrs. Kulsoom Zeb, Prof. Iqbal Shakir, Arshad Jan Shahkar, Nasir Khan Hamdard, Qaim Ahmad, Yasir Ubaid, Nasir Ali Sayed and others. The function was attended by large number of students and faculty members of the centre.
