Pakistan Study Centre holds Board of Governors Meeting


A meeting of the Board of Governors (BoG) of Pakistan Study Centre, University of Peshawar was held in the Centre’s Conference Room on 29th December, 2021 at 10:30 AM. The meeting was presided over by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Idrees, Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar. Ms. Noshaba Owais, representative of the HEC, Dr. Hanif Khalil and Dr. Altafullah from Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad, Dr. Anwar Shaheen from Karachi University, Prof Dr Zahid Anwar Khan, Dean, Prof. Dr. Arshad Ali University of Peshawar and Mr. Akhtar Ali Khan, Advocate Supreme Court, attended the meeting. Director,Prof Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam presented annual report which contained activities regarding  academics. Research. Civic engagements, finances and administration. The Board appreciated the performance of the Centre. The Board also approved Centre’s budget to the tune of Rs, 46.5 million. The Board took other important decisions as well. Concluding the meeting Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Idrees said that higher education is a key to development therefore we have to work hard to ensure quality education and research.
