Career Counselling workshop was arranged at Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar. Mr. Ahmad Hussain was a Resource Person. Inaugurating the workshop. Prof Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam Director of the Centre said that majority of the youth remains directionless after getting terminal degrees of their career. It is the responsibility of the educational institutions to inculcate the right vision of career building into the minds of young people. The Resource Person gave a detailed presentation encompassing all aspects of the theme. He answered many questions asked by the audience. Faculty members and students attended the workshop.


Coming from Chitral and recently working as Eye Specialist at Gilgit, Dr Zubaida Sirang Aseer paid a visit to Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar. She was received by Director Prof Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam. He gifted his books to the guest. Dr Zubaida distributed cheques among the students sponsored by ROSE Foundation. Chairman ROSE Mr. Hidayatullah and other guests were also present on the occasion. 


Pakistan Day Function was held at Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar. Director Prof Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam presided over the session. Assistant Professors Dr. Khan Faqir and Dr. Farmanullah explained the text and background of the Lahore resolution passed on 32rd march 1940. In his presidential address Prof Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam urged  upon the students to work hard so that the hard-earned independence could be defended. The staff and students of the Centre attended the function.
